Sir Walks A Lot will be hiring soon for the up coming 2008 Holiday Season!

Sir Walks A Lot strives to provide the highest quality pet care in Central PA.  We will be focusing our
hiring efforts on employing Veterinary Professionals with experience in providing quality pet care, but
not limiting it to those individuals:

Veterinary Receptionists with at least one year consecutive experience
Veterinary Assistants with one year consecutive experience or 6 months experience and a High
School Vocational Diploma in Veterinary Assisting
Certified Veterinary Technician's
Certified Veterinary Technologist's

I encourage all applicants to take the American Red Cross Pet First Aid Course, but it will not be a
requirement for employment consideration for applicants with experience working in the Veterinary
field.  Although, it is a good refresher course on basic first aid and CPR for pets.

If you do not fit one of the categories  listed above and are interested in working with Sir Walks A Lot
you will be considered for employment after you complete the American Red Cross Pet First Aid
Course.  The nearest Red Cross Location that is offering up coming courses is the Berks County Red
Cross in Reading, PA.

Pet First Aid Fee: $45
New! Dogs and cats are more than pets they’re family. And just
like any other member of the family, pets deserve to be cared for
and protected. That’s why theAmerican Red Cross has developed Dog and Cat First Aid. This course
helps build first aid skills with hands on practice on dog and cat manikins. Topics include recognizing
symptoms and providing care for common ailments and emergencies, creating a pet first aid kit, how to
prepare for disasters and tips on maintaining your pet’s health and well-being. Course participants
receive full color Dog First Aid and Cat First Aid books both with a companion DVD featuring step-by-
step directions.
